On 21 September 2025, the bell-ring ceremony organized by the Japan Committee for the International Peace Day was held at the head temple Gokokuji temple. Kasuga Shizuko, Director of the Association, attended as a representative of Takase.
Following an address by the Head Priest, Sekimoto Ryuunin, in the main hall, attendees moved to the bell tower for the bell ringing and a moment of silent prayer.
Returning to the Gekkō-den Hall, addresses were given by Governor Koike Yuriko and other guests, followed by a reception where Director Kasuga also addressed the gathering. Tomari Mitsuo, Director of the Association and representative of the Japan Cultural Exchange Research Association, was also in attendance.
It was a very solemn bell-ringing ceremony.
